Founding Director
Andy has spent the past 36 years working in Financial Services, Property and Accommodation. The last 24 years in his private practice advising clients on strategy and debt raising for property investments.
Andy specialises in Real Estate finance, working with clients in the UK and Spain.
Relocating to Spain as a Digital Nomad in February 2025 allowed him to see a need for utilising that practical experience of that move and combine both that with access to finance capital raising solutions in the UK.
Thus creating a solid platform allowing people to realise the dream of a Spanish Lifestyle.

Mark Lewis
Director of Mortgages
Mark has over 34 years’ experience working successfully as a mortgage broker and has run his own mortgage broking business since 2006. He joined Adept Private Finance in early 2020, bringing his extensive Regulated Mortgage expertise to the Group.
Mark’s aim has always been the same: to make the home-owning process as straightforward and stress-free as possible by taking the complexity out of finding and arranging the right mortgage. Whether you are moving home, buying for the first time, remortgaging, or purchasing investment properties, Mark is pleased to help. He particularly enjoys more complex cases, while giving the same care and attention to straightforward ones.
Working with both professionals and private individuals, Mark prides himself on delivering a service clients return to and confidently recommend. Much of his business now comes from long-standing clients, repeat business, and referrals built up over three decades of trusted advice.
Over the years, Mark has also helped many clients release funds from their UK property portfolios to purchase dream holiday homes abroad, particularly in Spain, France, Greece, and Italy. In addition, he has previously acted as the preferred mortgage broker for several national housebuilders across South Wales.
Mark is a fluent Welsh speaker and is more than happy to conduct meetings in his native language.

Sam Fairclough
Mortgage Manager
Over the past 3 years, Sam has managed commercial mortgage and Buy-to-Let applications, while also supporting residential mortgage cases throughout the UK, ensuring they are accurate and efficiently progressed from start to finish.
Having experienced the lifestyle benefits of relocating to Spain firsthand from his parents move, Sam now supports clients purchasing property there by managing the UK mortgage arrangements that enable these transactions, helping them make their move as smooth as possible.

Alison de Cotta
Adviser
Alison has over 25 years experience in the financial services industry and has spent part of that time in International Private Banking working for large institutions such as Banco Santander, Credit Suisse and Societe Generale Hambros, so she has a wealth of experience in financial services, top end customer service and in tailor-made recommendations for her clients.
Since 2015, Alison, who is based in the South of Spain, has concentrated on sourcing Spanish mortgage deals mainly for expats looking to purchase either a main residence or holiday home on the Spanish mainland or islands. She is qualified as a Certified Financial Advisor (CeFA) from The London Institute of Banking & Finance and also has the Spanish broker qualification called ICI (Intermediario de Creditos Inmobiliarios).

Mark has been an Equity Release Specialist helping clients to unlock the value in their homes to enhance their standard of living and achieve dreams for over 22 years. The vast majority of his clients are referred to him by other financial professionals with whom he has a long-standing relationship or by former clients.

Elizabeth Harris
Compliance Manager
Elizabeth has over 20 years’ experience in the compliance sector working in both large corporate environments and boutique advisory firms. Elizabeth specialises in the risk oversight management of mortgages, insurance and commercial credit products and is a qualified Compliance and Financial Crime Risk Practitioner. Elizabeth feels passionately about customer service and is a firm believer that regulation should complement the right customer advice outcomes – rather than be seen as a barrier. She is often called upon by industry forums to contribute towards regulation change proposals by the Financial Conduct Authority.
When away from the desk, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her husband and son in their camper van taking trips which involve either surfing or snowboarding!
